About the Void-of-Course Moon Article
I was looking through the old 1997 Llewellyn's Moon Sign Book and found a very interesting example of how void-of-course periods can be used, and were used with great benefit. This is a story about President Reagan who, and it was publicly acknowledged by his wife, was using the services of an astrologer. Ronald Reagan was planning his activities in such a way that anything that could give him bad publicity happened during void-of-course periods, and so was largely ignored and quickly forgotten. On the other hand, everything which was important for Reagan's image was carefully planned so that it didn't happen to be during a void-of-course period.
This prompted me to do something I was planning to do long time ago: to write an article which would describe in non-technical terms what the void-of-course Moon is and how it can be used in daily life.
Today, I am happy to announce that the About the Void-of-Course Moon article was written and published on the Lunarium website. Not only it explains in great detail what the void-of-course Moon is, and what it isn't, but also demonstrates how to figure out when the next void-of-course period is using the Astrological Moon Calendar, iLuna for iOS and iLuna for Android.
Moon Sign Book Updates
I am working on a book which explains the importance of the Moon Sign and gives plenty examples of celebrities for each of the Moon Signs, as well as some advice on how to better use the energy of your Moon Sign.
Just yesterday I completed the Aries chapter of the book and made it a part of the free sample of the book, so that you could see what all the other chapters will look like, more or less.
You can download the new free sample from the Moon Sign Book's web page.
I also decided to add two more chapters to the book's plan. One of them will discuss how your Moon Sign and Sun Sign work together, while the other will explain how you can foresee beneficial as well as difficult periods of your life with the help of your Moon Sign.
If you are interested in the book, please register your interest at the book's web page. The more people will express their interest, the sooner the book will be finished!
An Interesting and Rare Book
In the last few months, one little book was often mentioned to me, and highly praised, from different sources. The book is The Stars and Your Future by M.C. Jain, published by Sagar Publications. It contains symbolic descriptions for each of the 360 degrees of the Zodiac.
Of course we all know that an attempt to produce such descriptions was made in the past, and not once. An Astrological Mandala by Dane Rudhyar is the version I am the most familiar with.
However, I was told by different books and people that the book by M.C. Jain is the best in this class, that it is very insightful and thought provoking.
I was able to obtain the book, and I do agree with those who recommended it to me. Let me give you just one example, the description of the 13th degree of Aquarius. This is the degree of Steve Jobs' Sun in the sidereal zodiac:
Denotes one of occult understanding and a deep feeling nature who will often be alone or apart from busy centres. Wherever he may go, he can never feel really alone, for there is a power of seer-ship bestowed on him which enables him to see the true, the beautiful and the sublime in a form unknown to the masses of humanity. His is the eye that sees.
I think this is an amazing description for a visionary whose approach was very much about the beautiful and the sublime.
I was able to order this book from the Vedic Books website but I had to remind them a couple of times about my order and it took about a month to deliver. In the meantime, I was able to buy the book from Gordon Brennan at the BAVA conference in London.
That's it for today. Please do let me know if you have any suggestions. I can't promise to reply quickly as I am always overloaded with various projects, but I will definitely take your opinion into account.
