A 10-Dip Recession?
Everyone knows that we are now in a period of recession which lasts for already about four years, and will still last for who knows how long. Economists and politicians were arguing whether it is going to be a double dip recession, or a triple dip, but now they seem to stop counting the number of dips.
If they paid more attention to astrology, and there is a so called Mundane Astrology dealing with life of countries, nations and world in general, they would know that the current recession has exactly ten dips. They would also be able to predict decades ago when exactly these dips will take place and, who knows, even plan for them.
Here is a complete list of the past and coming dips:
- November 2009
- January - February 2010
- August 2010
- June 2012
- September 2012
- May 2013
- November 2013
- April 2014
- December 2014
- March 2015
How do I know these dates? Well, it's really easy, you just need to look into astronomical or astrological tables of ephemeris, or planetary positions. For a theoretical explanation, with many examples, of how to interpret the astronomical data, you can read the book Mundane Astrology by Michael Baigent, Nicholas Campion and Charles Harvey, first published in 1984 by The Aquarian Press, although any other book on mundane astrology would be helpful too.
The world's development goes in cycles, and those cycles have critical points. When critical points of two or more important cycles come together, there is a noticeable crisis in the world's life which can show itself in many ways but primarily as an economic upheaval. Currently, we have a critical phase of the Uranus-Pluto cycle which in the above mentioned book is described as "the radical restructuring of peoples and nations".
The first act in the development of this crisis hit in June 2012, and the whole story won't be over until 2015. However, it was closely precluded by a critical phase of another important cycle, Saturn-Pluto, which touched the sensitive points of the world's major banks and was associated with the "credit crunch". The three dips of that crisis took place in 2009-2010.
As we are speaking of cycles, it is clear that what's going on now isn't unique. Uranus-Pluto cycle is 127 year long, and it has critical phases approximately every 32 years, while Saturn-Pluto cycle is 33 year long. There were crises in the past, and there will be more crises in the future. I just wonder if humanity could be happier if its leaders were wise enough to pay attention to the obvious things.
Is It Really a Global Warming?
It is easy to notice that the years of the recession are also unusual in one other way: it is snowing pretty much every winter in England, although people in this country still prefer to pretend that they never saw any snow in their lives.
Well, both weather and economy are the aspects of the same bigger world's life, and from the astrological point of view they should respond to the same cycles. If you read the Long Range Astro-Weather Forecasting book by George J. McCormack, you'll find out that Uranus is associated with "sudden changes to colder". It is less than two weeks before the Easter now, and in the forecast for London for the next week we have some snow again. Given the fact that we are in the middle of a Uranus-related crisis, it doesn't look too weird then.
I remember how one of the major gatherings of the global warming proponents coincided with an unusually cold weather in Europe. It might just happen that the coming years, until at least 2015 will continue the tendency towards the abnormally cold rather than abnormally warm weather.
It is interesting in this respect that there is a book titled "Chill. A Reassessment of Global Warming Theory" by Peter Taylor, which is completely scientific, has nothing to do with astrology, but it refers to the natural cycles. The author writes in this book: "I conclude from the evidence I have seen that we may be facing a significant period of cooling comparable in severity to the Little Ice Age of AD 1400-1700".
There is also a very interesting fact mentioned in the Chill book: "Between 1950 and 1980 there was a natural cooling period. At the time many scientists thought an ice age could be imminent. That cooling was later ascribed to fossil fuel burning and the effect of sulphur aerosols". Now, it is interesting to notice that there was a conjunction between Uranus and Pluto in the middle of 1960s which, from the astrological point of view, should have caused a much stronger cooling of climate than what we see now.
Moon Sign Book is Coming
It is already a few years since I started working on a collection of Moon Sign data, finding out Moon Signs of famous, and not very famous but interesting people (you know about the Moon Sign Calculator offered by Lunarium, right?). I've discovered many interesting things. For example, many famous men actors have their Moon in Capricorn. Both Bill Gates and Steve Jobs have their Moons in pioneering Aries, and both Angelina Jolie and her father have their Moon's in Aries as well, which is so appropriate for Angelina's personality.
At times, I discover something which is difficult to explain from the point of view of the Western Astrology but which makes a lot more sense from the Hindu Astrology point of view. One of such facts is that many famous writers have their Moon in Taurus.
I had a strong desire to write a book in order to share my findings, as well as to better explain what exactly the Moon Sign is. Now I am happy to announce that I am in the middle of writing such a book, titled Moon Sign. Discover Your True Self, and you can already preview the first chapter - and subscribe to be notified when the book will be published. At first, it will be an ebook only, and if it will prove to be popular enough, I will offer it as a paper book as well.
Jonas Method Calculator is Back
Lunar Conception (aka Jonas Method) Calculator used to be a part of Lunarium for many years, but a few years ago I removed it from the website on a few different reasons. Now I am happy to announce that the Lunar Conception Calculator is back, as well as an article Lunar Conception: A Discovery of Dr. Jonas, which tells about the idea and the research behind the Calculator.
What's Coming Next
As I am now working actively on the Moon Sign Book, I also want to offer to people more ways to calculate their Moon Sign. An iPhone app named Moon Sign for this purpose existed for years, and it needs an update, but now I am also working on offering a similar kind of app for every major platform, including different flavours of Android, Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 too.
