Hours

Hours is a planetary hours calculator, able to calculate planetary hours for any day and for practically any location on the Earth. It also calculates the essential strengths or weaknesses of the planets ruling the hours, following traditional rules.

Most frequently, the Hours app is used to define the planetary hours for the current day and for the location of the user. To do that, it is sufficient to simply open the app. If you'll want to refresh the information, press the 'Current' button.

For every hour, you'll see the symbol of the ruling planet, the times of its beginning and end, as well as the essential strength or the weakness of the ruler, calculated for the moment of beginning.

To see detailed information about the ruler of the hour, just tap on the corresponding row in the table.

Here you can see detailed information about the ruler of the hour, collected from several traditional sources.

Pay attention to the clock icon at the top right. It appears only in the case when the selected hour is still in the future. Press it, and you'll be notified when the hour will start. Press it again, and the notification will be cancelled.

Also note the "i" button to the right of the planet's strength. If you press it, you'll see an explanation, what kind of strength this is.

You can select a location from the database containing over 40,000 cities and towns.

You can define any location to be used in the app if you know its latitude and longitude.

There can be any number of custom locations.
